Australian Curriculum - English - Term Audits

As part of our Australian Curriculum: English planning processes we conduct end of term audits regarding the content descriptions.

The process is as follows:
  1. Week 10 of term - view the planning documents, learning sequences you have taught this term and your assessment records
  2. Using the "audit" sheets - tick what content you covered over the term in response to student needs regarding skills and understandings. Also identify the "modes" the content was covered in. This is because many of the content descriptions can, and should be, covered across Reading, Writing, Viewing, Speaking and Listening.
  3. Plan what content descriptions you need to continue to consolidate or introduce for the upcoming term
Here is an example of one audit completed as at end of Term 2

You can click the picture to enlarge. You can also click HERE to download/view the sample audit. When you click the link it will open in Google Docs. When that screen opens, click on FILE and then DOWNLOAD.
